DD Miss Rita Red

DD Miss Rita Red is a big, beautiful young mare with all the ingredients of a future cornerstone broodmare. Sired by DD Docs Irish Badger and out of Miss Frosty Red Buck—the dam of the 2024 Riata Open Heeling Champion—this mare carries elite genetics on both sides of her pedigree. Before entering the broodmare band, she was being developed by Quinn Kesler for the futurity pen, a strong endorsement of her ability and promise.

She had her first foal in 2025, and we’re excited to watch her production career unfold. With her size, breeding, and performance background, she’s positioned to make a lasting impact on the EPH program.
